Steven Laitz Dr. Steven Laitz is the chair of Juilliard’s Music Theory and Analysis department where he teaches theory to undergraduate and graduate students. Before coming to Juilliard, he taught at the Eastman School of Music for 27 years. He is the author of two leading music theory textbooks: The Complete Musician: An Integrated Approach to Tonal Theory, Analysis and Listening and Graduate Review of Tonal Theory: A Recasting of Common-Practice Harmony, Form, and Counterpoint (Oxford University Press). |

| Trevor Bumgarner is a composer who focuses on collaboration and variety. Recent past projects include the NY City Ballet Choreographic Institute, BMI's Composing for the Screen Workshop, and orchestrating the Off-Broadway Musical Crashlight. He is also an adamant educator, serving as a teaching artist with the New York Philharmonic, Juilliard, and several other local programs. | Yue Fang is the Course Builder and China Communications Specialist for Juilliard Global Ventures. She collaborated closely with subject matter experts and the course production team to produce Music Theory 101, Sharpen Your Piano Artistry, Conquering Performance Anxiety, Piano Preludes: Bach, Chopin and Debussy, and Discovering Instruments of the Orchestra. | Walker Higgins is the Creative Director of Music Theory 101. He studied film at SUNY Purchase and has worked at Juilliard since graduating. A native of Manhattan, whose parents have worked at The Met and MoMA, he’s passionate about the arts and their accessibility to everyone. |

| Leah Siepel is the Director of Instructional Design for Juilliard Global Ventures. She collaborated closely with Steve Laitz and the course production team to envision and design Music Theory 101, Sharpen Your Piano Artistry, and How to Listen to Great Orchestral Music. | David Townsend is a multimedia producer by day and an actor by night. David has been working in museums and educational non-profits for over ten years. As an actor he has appeared on Broadway, in many regional theaters, and on television shows such as Boardwalk Empire, The Knick, Daredevil, The Americans, and more. | Jude Vaclavik is the Artistic Producer for Digital Content for Juilliard Global Ventures and the Lead Writer for Music Theory 101. |
