GRADING THE COURSE ASSESSMENTS
This course contains ungraded video chapter questions, ungraded reading quizzes, discussions, and pre- and post-course surveys. Verified learners also have access to a graded final exam.
VERIFIED LEARNERS: Completion of the pre- and post-course surveys count for 10% of your final grade, and the final exam counts for the other 90%. You must pass with a 70% or above to receive your Verified Certificate.
Whether or not you are pursuing a certificate, you are encouraged to complete all of the assessments, as they are your opportunity to gauge how well you understand the material. Each video chapter will have a series of corresponding comprehension questions, and each module has one reading quiz based on the required readings. You will have two attempts at each question if it has multiple answers, and only one attempt if the question has only two answers or is true/false.
FINAL EXAM
The final exam will combine information from all the lectures and readings. For the final exam, please remember:
- You will be allowed only two attempts to select the correct answers for multiple choice and “check all that apply” questions.
- You will be allowed only one attempt at the correct answer for True/False questions or multiple choice questions with just two answers.
