Live Q&A Sessions

June 4, 2020: Professor Hirokazu Yoshikawa, lead faculty for this course, answered learners' questions about early childhood development, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and in light of the protests against racism in the US (and around the world).

October 6, 2020: Dr. Aisha Yousafzai, one of the course instructors, answered questions on many topics related to early childhood development, including the COVID-19 pandemic, maternal depression, examples of successful program implementations across contexts, resources for finding assessment tools, and much more.

February 18, 2021: Dr. Pia Rebello Britto, a guest lecturer, joined us to answer your questions on topics ranging from successful early childhood programs and policy, to ways to get involved professionally or through volunteering in ECD, and more. Dr. Britto was recently appointed as Country Director of Lao PDR at UNICEF after serving as the Chief and Senior Adviser of Early Childhood Development at UNICEF.
