When are the weekly assignments due?
The weekly assignments are due on July 18, 2018 at 23:59 UTC. Please review your peers assignments until July 20, 2018 at 23:59 UTC.

Why is the due date of the weekly assignments earlier than the course end date?
The course end date is a technical date where the course closes. After this date the course is going to be archived.

What happens if not enough peers review my assignment?
There’s no need to worry if your assignment doesn’t get corrected by enough peers. If there aren’t enough reviews after the due date the course team will correct your assignment. This should only happen in individual cases. Please be fair and review your peers assignments.

Do I have to complete all weekly assignments to pass the course?
To pass the course you need 60% of the points of the weekly assignments, the recap questions and the final exam in total. The weight of the recap questions is 10% of the final grade, the weight of the weekly assignments is 30% and the weight of the final exam is 60%. If you leave out assignments or recap questions you can still receive 60% of the points. But we strongly recommend taking part in the recap questions and the weekly assignments because they are an important part of the learning process.

I am not able to write the final exam at the possible dates. What can I do?
Since there are a lot of learners in our course we unfortunately can’t take all date suggestions in consideration. The exam will include open as well as closed questions. For the open questions you will have to write short essays. The closed questions will consist out of Multiple Choice, Checkbox and Text Input Questions.

When will I get my results for the final exam?
Since the open questions of the final exam need to be corrected manually by the course team it will take up to two weeks after the final exam until you will get your final results.

Why do I see my final exam results in the progress page right after the exam?
The closed questions of the final exam (e.g. Checkbox or Single Choice questions) are corrected automatically. You can see the results immediately after the exam. The open questions need to be corrected manually by the course team. This takes some time. You’ll get an email when all questions have been corrected and the final result is available.

Can I retake an exam if I failed?
In the edX MicroMaster courses, there is no exam re-take option within one course run (compared to regular university courses). The upside though: You can re-take exams/courses as often as you wish by taking the same course again.
Our MicroMaster courses run a couple times each year and you can always see upcoming dates here.
