Bachelor of Bachelor of Visual Communication Design
The Bachelor of Visual Communication Design degree allows you to specialise in one of four majors, including Illustration.
The Illustration major has been designed for students who wish to learn about and/or follow a career path in the field of illustration. This major provides students with a broad understanding of how illustration operates within the field of Visual Communication Design. This major facilitates stylistic diversity in the acquisition and broad application of digital, traditional and hybrid illustration skills as well as offering opportunities for the development and refinement of personal visual voice and specific illustration styles.
Successful Illustrators perform roles in design studios, advertising agencies, work as in-house illustrators inside other organisations and businesses, can be represented by illustration agencies, or operate independently as commissioned illustrators and freelancers. Transferable skills in this major underpin other areas of visual conceptualisation, illustration and visualisation, visual narrative and can also inform careers in screen-based illustration and imaging for animation and motion graphics. The Illustration Major also provides opportunities for more experimental artistic imaging outcomes and supports further design illustration specialisation at Honours and Postgraduate levels.

Master of Creative Industries
The Master of Creative Industries is a combination of practical, creative and entrepreneurial courses designed to align your creative skills with the most progressive industries.
