Certificates and identity verification
The Inter-American Development Bank offers all its courses in Verified Certificate mode and in Audit mode. In order to receive a verified certificate, it is necessary to make the payment, pass the course with a minimum of 65% and complete the photo identity verification process (using a webcam) before the deadline established in the course.

In the assistant mode, you can take the course completely free of charge. Although certificates are not awarded for those enrolled in this mode, you will be able to print your progress page to show that you have completed the course.

In the past, edX also offered Code of Honor certificates. However, this option no longer exists. If you were part of a course that offered a Code of Honor certificate, you still have access to it on your dashboard at edx.org.

Record of hours
The Inter-American Development Bank issues a record of hours that must be accompanied alongside the respective verified certificate. The Time Commitment Certificate is available in the "Course Handouts" section in the right column and on the course start page ("Course" option in the main menu).

All Inter-American Development Bank IDBx Program courses can be taken free of charge. Although no certificate is awarded to those enrolled for free, you can print your progress sheet to demonstrate that you have completed the course.

Payments
The Inter-American Development Bank does not manage payments on the edX platform. To make a payment, you must enter your "Dashboard" by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of the edX page and clicking the "Upgrade to Verified" in the corresponding course. Once this is done, you can make the payment with a credit card or PayPal. If you have a coupon code, remember to use it in the payment process.
