Certificates and identity verification
The Inter-American Development Bank offers verified certificates that cost US$ 25. In order to receive the verified certificate, it is necessary to make the payment and go through the identity verification process (using a webcam) before the course deadline.

All courses in the Inter-American Development Bank IDBx Program can be made free of charge. Although no certificate is awarded to those who are enrolled for free, you can print your progress sheet to demonstrate that you have successfully completed the course.

In the past, edX also offered Code of Honor certificates. However, this option no longer exists. If you were part of a course that offered a Code of Honor certificate, you will still have access to it on your dashboard at edx.org.

Record of hours
The Inter-American Development Bank issues a record of hours that must be accompanied alongside the respective verified certificate. This record of hours is available in the "Handouts" section in the right column and on the course start page ("Course" option in main menu).

Payments
The Inter-American Development Bank does not manage payments on the edX platform. To make a payment you must enter your “Dashboard” by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of the edX page and clicking the "Upgrade to Verified"in the corresponding course. Once this is done, you can make the payment with a credit card or PayPal. If you have a coupon code, remember to use it on this screen.
