Holly Ott
Holly Ott is a professor of operations management at the Bavarian University of Applied Sciences and Management (Hochschule der Bayerischen Wirtschaft), a senior lecturer at Technische Universität München and an adjunct professor at Singapore Management University (Singapore), IE Business School (Madrid) and Syracuse University (New York). She holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia and has worked for twelve years in quality and supply chain management in the USA, Europe and Asia for Siemens, Motorola, IBM and Infineon. Her work has been in the areas of device simulation, electrical and reliability testing, and quality and supply chain management. She holds a International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) and is a member of the American Society for Quality (asq.org). Holly is the program chair for the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association's Supply Chain Forum and academic director of the TUM Case Center.

Martin Grunow
Martin Grunow is a professor of production and supply chain management at Technische Universität München and an adjunct professor at Technical University Denmark, where he previously held a professorship in Operations Management. Earlier, he worked at Technical University Berlin and in the R&D department of Degussa, a multinational company producing special chemicals. His research interests are in production and logistics management with a focus on the process, electronics and automotive industries. He has coauthored more than 100 publications amongst others in International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, European Journal of Operational Research, CIRP Annals, Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal, and OR Spectrum. For the latter two journals, he also acts as an editor. Martin Grunow has been on the program committee and track organizer of more than 30 international conferences and is an associate member of The International Academy of Production Engineering.
REINER HUTWELKER (MOOC CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT, Six Sigma & Lean Lectures )
Reiner Hutwelker is Master Black Belt in Six Sigma and an adjunct professor at Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften München and Management Center Innsbruck. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Rheinische Westfaelische Hochule Aachen and has worked for twenty-five years as a consultant for process improvement in the USA, Europe and Africa for BASF, Infineon, Siemens, Telefonica and Zeiss. His work has been in the areas of incident analysis, continuous process improvement and six sigma. He developed software for the analysis incidents (inRisk), a simulation game for six sigma (codierFabrik), which has been a feature of the QE&M course at TUM and a guideline to implement six sigma projects (sigmaGuide) which is part of this MOOC.
TAIWO YUSUFF
Taiwo Yusuff presently studies Master in Management at the Technische Universität München. He previously attended Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, where he received Bachelor degree in Computer Science. His bachelor thesis was in the area of E-library focusing on Resource allocation through pattern recognition. At the Ministry of Science and Technology Lagos, he had a first hand experience as a system analyst intern. He is currently working on the EdX course as a student assistant.
Chris-DANIEL KREMPELS
Chris-Daniel Krempels is a master student in Management and Technology at the Technical University München – with "Operations & Supply Chain Management" as his major in management and "Informatics" as his major in engineering and natural science – who is contributing to the EdX course in his role as a student employee. Parallel to this he is working on his master thesis and will presumably finish his degree after a study abroad semester at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.
He completed his bachelor degree in production management at the ESB Business School in Reutlingen – gaining the ZF award for the best degree in production management in the summer semester 2015. During his bachelor studies, he already collected practical experience in the logistics planning department of Porsche as an intern and working student and, moreover, international experience during a study abroad semester at Swinburne University of Technology in Australia.
Maya Schwaninger
Maya Schwaninger is a master student at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). She is studying Management and Technology with economics major "Operations and Supply Chain Management" and natural sciences major "Informatics". She completed her Bachelor degree in the same program at the TUM and spent a semester abroad in France, studying Corporate Finance at the Audencia Business School of Nantes. She has gained practical experience working for Start-Ups in Munich and is now contribution to this edX-course as a student assistant.
