COURSE ASSESSMENTS
This course contains weekly video comprehension questions, reading quizzes, homework assignments (Modules 2, 4, and 9), and a final exam.
VERIFIED LEARNERS: the final exam counts for 100% of your final grade. It consists of information from all of the lectures and readings, and will be released during the final week of the course. You must pass with a 70% or above to receive your Verified Certificate.
Whether or not you are pursuing a certificate, you are encouraged to complete all of the assessments, as they are your opportunity to gauge how well you understand the material. Each module will have a series of corresponding comprehension questions and a reading quiz. You will have two attempts at each question if it has multiple answers, and only one attempt if the question has only two answers or is true/false. Homework activities in Modules 2, 4, and 9 ask you to engage with the content in a new way, and give you the chance to discuss it with your fellow learners.
FINAL EXAM
As mentioned above, the final exam will combine information from all the lectures and readings and will be released during the last week of the course. For the final exam, please remember:
- You will be allowed only two attempts to select the correct answers for multiple choice and “check all that apply” questions.
- You will be allowed only one attempt at the correct answer for True/False questions or multiple choice questions with just two answers.
NOTE: You will see two versions of the final exam in your Course Outline: one for learners on the Verified Track, and one for learners on the Audit Track. The questions are exactly the same for both tracks--but the Verified Track exam is graded for learners pursuing a Verified Certificate.
