How to engage with other learners in the course

This course uses Discussions -- so that you can engage with your fellow learners and get the most out of your learning!

1. Discussion-Based Activities

Each week, you will have the opportunity to engage with other learners around that week's content. You are encouraged to respond to other learner's posts in order to create a dialogue. The more you post on the Discussion Boards, the more engaged you and your fellow learners will be!

VERIFIED LEARNERS must complete a "Part 2": You must answer two Participation Questions in order to receive credit for completing the Activity.

2. Course-wide Discussion Forum

There is also a course-wide Discussion Forum, which you can access by clicking "Discussion" at the top of the course screen.

This is the place for you to ask general questions about the course (under "General Course Discussion"), or to report technical issues with the platform and ask for assistance ("Technical issues"). We've also created general course discussion boards for speakers of French, Spanish, and Portuguese in case you want to discuss the course in those languages, trade language specific-resources, etc.

If you want to keep track of who is replying to your posts, click the “Discussion” tab and check the box to receive daily digests about new activity on your posts. This is a great way to keep engaged with the course and contribute to a meaningful learning environment!
