Assessments
This course contains quizzes and discussion activities, which all learners are encouraged to attempt. You are encouraged to complete all of the assessments, as they are your opportunity to gauge how well you understand the material. For the quizzes, you will have two attempts at each question if it has multiple answers.
Certificates
In this course, learners have the opportunity to earn a free certificate:
Certificate of Completion: All learners can earn a free Certificate of Completion, awarded by IISD, GIZ and IUCN, upon completing the course. If you would like to receive the certificate, be sure to complete the post-course survey and follow the instructions carefully. Please note that these certificates will be generated manually by the course team and sent to the email address you provide, therefore, you will not receive your certificate right away. Your patience is appreciated. If you have questions pertaining to receiving your Certificate of Completion please contact eba_elearning@iisd.ca.
Please note that the certificate is not credit-bearing on its own. However, some students have been able to negotiate for academic credit with their universities. Speak with your institution to see if this is an option for you.
