This course contains video ungraded video comprehension questions, assignments, and discussions. Verified learners also have access to a final exam.

VERIFIED LEARNERS: The final grade for the course will be weighted as follows: 80% for completion of coursework (pre- and post-course surveys, comprehension questions, discussion activities, and assignments) and 20% for the final exam. You have the duration of the course to complete the coursework and final exam. The final exam consists of information from all of the lectures and readings. You must pass with a 70% or above to receive your verified certificate.

Whether or not you are pursuing a certificate, you are encouraged to complete all of the available coursework, as they are your opportunity to gauge how well you understand the material. Each module will have a series of corresponding comprehension questions, a discussion activity, and an assignment. You will have two attempts at each question if it has multiple answers, and only one attempt if the question has only two answers or is true/false. Assignments ask you to engage with the content in a new way, and discussions give you the chance to discuss it with your fellow learners.

Assignments

Module assignments ask you to engage with the content in a new way. Each activity involves several parts, each with a specific prompt and associated set of questions.

VERIFIED LEARNERS must complete a confirmation: completing the participation question at the end of the assignments. You must answer this participation question in order to receive credit for completing the modules.

Final Exam

As mentioned above, the final exam will combine information from all the lectures and readings. For the final exam, please remember:

  • You will be allowed only two attempts to select the correct answers for multiple-choice and “check all that apply” questions.
