How grading and assessment is done?

Graded Assessments

Instructions

Graded assessments have due dates, or the last possible time by which you may submit an assessment. Once the due date has passed, you cannot receive credit for any incomplete problems in the assessment. The name of the graded assessment appears under the name of the learning sequence along with an icon in the course accordion. The image on the right shows an example of how this will appear to learners.

Please ensure the following:

  • Click the Save button to save your answer. These answers will not be graded at this stage.
  • Click the Check button at the end of every question to record your choice and get your answer graded.

Note:

  • You need to score 60% to pass the assessment.
  • Please check the number of attempts and due date specified for each assessment.

How Can You Find the Correct Answers to An Assessment?

The correct answers for an assessment will be made available after the due date for the assessment has passed. The "Show Answer" button will become visible and you can click on it to find the correct answer to an assessment question.

What is Proctored Exam?

If you are taking a course as a verified track student, and want to be eligible to pursue the in-campus option at IIM Bangalore with a MicroMasters Credential, you must take the proctored exam for your final assessment. This is to ensure that you passed the required exam in the course without cheating or using a false identity.

Note:

  • Proctored exams are indicated in the course with a pencil icon and a “Proctored Option Available” label.
  • Proctored exams are visible only if you are enrolled in the verified track for your course. If you are not in the verified track, you take the same or an equivalent exam as a regular exam, without the requirement for online proctoring.
  • If you want to be eligible for the MicroMasters Credential after passing your course, make sure you enroll in or upgrade to the verified track as early as possible during the course, so that you do not miss any eligibility opportunities.

Go through the proctored exam section in this course to know more.
