INSTRUCTORS

Ernesto MONDELO

Ernesto is responsible for the creation and development of the Project Management for Results (PM4R) program to extend development products for project management skills to executing agencies in Latin America and the Caribbean.  Mr. Mondelo holds an International Masters of Business Administration from the Higher School of Business Administration and Management [Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas; ESADE] in Barcelona, Spain, a Master’s in Education from Framingham State University in Massachusetts, in the US, and he is a Project Management Professional (PMP), certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has extensive experience in private sector development, public sector reform, and project management in Latin America and the Caribbean. Ernesto is knowledgeable about project identification, design, supervision, and evaluation. He has lead the development of training content for project management and carried out numerous training activities for more than 3,000 professionals from the public and private sector in 24 countries throughout the region.

Vanessa SAYOS DEL CASTILLO

A Spanish citizen, born and raised in Barcelona, she studied Political Science and Business at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona; (UAB) and University of Lausanne in Switzerland. She holds a master’s degree in international relations from Escuela Diplomática de Madrid, a postgraduate degree with a focus on political and electoral management from UAB, and a master of fine arts from New York University, where she also obtained a professional certification in Project Management, as well as a PMP certificate from the Project Management Institute.

For over 15 years, Vanessa has worked in Project Management in the public sector, initially in the Spanish Ministry of Economy with reimbursable cooperation funding and later in charge of governance projects with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). Since 2012, she has been a consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), leading workshops on project planning in the start-up and advanced execution phases and facilitating project management courses using the PM4R methodology for public implementation units and civil society organizations.

Roberto TOLEDO RODRÍGUEZ 

Instructor and Consultant in project management with more than 18 years of experience. He is currently the Managing Partner of Alpha Consultoría - a training firm registered with the Project Management Institute (PMI® R.E.P.) and partner of Alpha PM Consulting, Inc., a subsidiary located in Chicago, IL.   More than 25,000 executives from varying industries have been trained by the two companies.  Roberto is also the coordinator for the Project Management Program at the Mexican Autonomous Institute of Technology [Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México; ITAM] and the Latin American representative for Cheetah Learning of the United States. He has a degree in architecture from the Ibero-American University [Universidad Iberoamericana] in Mexico, he is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified, and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from ITAM. Roberto has given courses and conferences on the subject to more than 15,000 executives from various companies, in more than 10 countries throughout the Americas and Europe.  Roberto is an active member of PMI, where he held several management positions in the Mexico City Chapter. Currently, he is a collaborator for PMI's blog Voices in Project Management, and a member of the PMI Educational Foundation's Board of Directors.

Menno VANKELBURG

Dutch. Graduated in Computer Sciences (Msc) from Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), The Netherlands. Holds a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from Project Management Institute and AgilePM certification from APMG International. He has over 20 years of professional experience in business, management consulting, and Information & Communication Technologies (ICT). 

Menno is a projectpilot, advisor and coach. In his role as projectpilot, Menno facilitates interventions designed to expedite success in projects and programs: start-up (guiding out of the port), setting the course, rescue operations and completion. Menno has worked for ICI, KPMG Consulting and Atos in the Netherlands, KPMG in Amerika and with TenStep in Suriname, Guatemala, the Netherlands and as a trainer/consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in the Caribbean. He currently works as a projectpilot with the 1Focus approach in the Netherlands and Caribbean. 

Gentile SENAT 

A native from Haiti, born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Gentile studied Economics and Business Engineering in France (Université Paris 8, Université Grenoble-Alpes) and in the United States (University of South Florida). After several years working as a Project Manager for the private sector (Rum and Spirits production, Water treatment, plastic recycling), he acquired valuable on-field experience in development by working in the Post 2010 Earthquake efforts in Haiti, on projects covering home reconstruction, education, water and sanitation, for international NGOs and the public sector. After successfully completing his PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, Gentile started collaborating with the Interamerican Development Bank as a consultant and trainer since 2015.
