The course outline
The course is an eight-week course. Each week will have a main topic and will consist of 10-14 titled short segments or subsections. We encourage you to complete the knowledge check questions after watching the videos of each subsection.

Week 5: The Early Daoists – Hermits, Shen Dao, and Laozi
Week 6: Mature Daoism: Zhuangzi part 1
Week 7: Mature Daoism: Zhuangzi part 2
Week 8: Xunzi and Legalism (Han-Fei-zi)
Assignment Overview
The pass mark for the course will be 50%
Weekly Quizzes: 50% of final grade (Based on each week’s input, one quiz per week at the end of the video sequence), 1 to 2 attempts per question. The deadline for the quizzes will be 15 August.
Knowledge Check: Unassessed (1 to 2 questions to be answered after each and every video/text input), instant feedback, 1 to 2 attempts per question.
Peer-assessment 1: Writing an argument for and rebut the best argument against: 25% of final grade (Peer-assessment based on a scoring rubric, short essay format). The deadline for the peer-assessment will be 14 August.
