Task 1: Email 

  • 150 - 200 words
  • Write a short email to inform management of any current trends or issues related to Chinese outbound tourists 
  • Peer assessed with clearly defined rubric by the instructors
  • Give constructive feedback to at least 5 pieces of peer work 








Each task is worth 10%. We will automatically drop the lowest score among the three tasks. So the total for all three tasks is 20%.

Task 2: Inform and recommend

  • 300 - 400 words
  • Write three paragraphs that inform The Lee Institute of potential market opportunities and briefly recommend a strategy

  • Give constructive feedback to at least 5 pieces of peer work

Task 3:  Executive Summary
  • 700 - 1000 words
  • Produce an executive summary for a formal business proposal for The Lee Institute case 
  • Peer assessed with clearly defined rubric by the instructors
  • Give constructive feedback to at least 5 pieces of peer work

Assignment submission policy

  • Participation activities such as vocabulary practice, reviews after video-lectures, and grammar practice can be completed any time before the final exam deadline. There is no limitation on the number of attempts for participation activities; however, only the last attempt will be graded. 
  • You will have one attempt to complete each of the quizzes, peer assessment tasks and the final exam. Submissions after the deadline identified in the table above will not count towards your final score. Please also note that we do not accept late submissions under any circumstances.
