A LOOK AT THE COURSE TAB ON THE TOP NAVIGATION BAR
The Course tab, which appears leftmost in the top navigation bar, is where you will find the instructional sequence for the course content appearing on the page below.
Let's walk through what you will find in the Course tab.
- Because this is a self-paced course, you will see all ten Course Sections from the beginning. You are invited to progress through these sections at your own pace.
- When you click on Section 1 to open it, you will find several subsections titled topically. Within these subsections, you will find any number of video lectures, short video snippets demonstrating sign, and homework questions.
- You will want to go through these in order. If you have another goal for browsing the course, please check the appendixes at the bottom of the page. There you will find FAQs, student guide and teacher guide.

FURTHER NAVIGATION GUIDANCE
Let’s take a moment to look at the two layers of Navigation Bar on the top of any content page. When you’ve logged in, you’ll see that there are a number of tabs at the top of the home page. This is for navigating the Sign Language Science content.
While you go into a particular course, you will see another layer of tabs below. These tabs allow you to perform coursework by shifting through individual lessons across sections and subsections of this course. You will find further navigation guidance when you visit the sections. You can access the two rows of tabs throughout the course.
Furthermore you may want to return to where you were after browsing elsewhere. In this case you should click the blue box at the bottom left of the page to resume your coursework.
