Marcel Salathé
Marcel is a professor at EPFL, Switzerland, where he leads the Digital Epidemiology Lab. With a PhD from ETH Zürich, he went to Stanford as a postdoc and later joined the faculty of Penn State University. Needing a break from being a YC (W14) founder, he wrote "Nature, in Code" while being a visiting assistant professor at Stanford.
