Happiness at Work Team FAQs

FAQs for Team Members

What is a Happiness at Work Team? Happiness at Work Teams are groups of students who meet regularly in-person or virtually to review and discuss the course, and try happiness at work practices together. Happiness at Work Teams are also great for people who already work together or within the same organization to meet and discuss topics in the course that apply specifically to their work.

Although students are encouraged to participate in discussions within the edX forums, joining a Happiness at Work Team allows for deeper and more personal engagement with the course and with other students.

What happens at Happiness at Work Team meetings is up to the Happiness at Work Team leader, but it will typically be inspired by the course content. For example, you might review the material and help each other study. Between meetings, Happiness at Work Teams can communicate in their own discussion forum, which is visible to all students (but only Team members can participate).

How do I form my own Happiness at Work Team on edX? If you are interested in forming your own Happiness at Work Team with colleagues, you can log into your edX account and Create a New Team here!

Projects are not mandatory, but they can be a fun and creative way to get engaged and make an impact. We believe these ideas can change the world, and your Happiness at Work Team is a great opportunity to do that.

Is there a deadline for joining Teams?  No, but we encourage you to join a Team as soon as possible.

Do I have to join a Team?  No, Teams are completely optional.

Can I join more than one Team?  No, edX only allows students to belong to one Team.
