ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course is the third in a series of four English language MOOCs designed for students with an intermediate level of English looking to reach a higher intermediate level. The course is comprised of video lessons, reading comprehension activities, grammar explanations and exercises, listening comprehension activities and speaking practice.
The course covers interesting topics such as the Edinburgh Theatre Festival, music, films and theatre, migratory movements and indigenous cultures.
This course also includes preparatory materials and recommendations to take the Cambridge University First Certificate in English Examination (FCE).

Reading a text about the European Constitution. Writing a letter of complaint. Using the indirect speech. Listening to a video on Japanese theatre. Talking about bans and prohibitions. about historical monuments. |
Course & Tester Unit 4: Languages in today's world |
Reading a text about Lebanon. Writing a letter of application. Using the passive. Understanding a lecture on innovation. Talking about languages in today's world. |
SCHEDULE
The course is in self-paced mode. This means that the all the content will be published from the beginning, which should take you 4 hours a week to complete, but you can do the activities at your own pace.
